"Maya" is the best name for this place. First it's obviously named for its physical theme, 'Maya' rather than 'Mayan', and this is the most elaborately themed condo complex I know about. It's almost a ride. Secondly Maya from Hindu philosophy is the word for illusion, the name for that which is not, and this condo complex is not Mayan. Thirdly in design history 'MAYA' is the principle concocted by Raymond Loewy (more likely somebody on his staff), standing for Most Advanced Yet Acceptable, a phrase which neatly captures a frustrating design paradox and is an apt name for this smooth-running Cadillac of condo complexes, this minor masterwork of space planning. There's the "Maya-Partment" thing.
